On 25th June 2024, Mr. Mazurevskiy Konstantin, Member of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Russia and Mrs. Budarina Natalia, Secretary of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Russia, paid a courtesy call to H.E. Mr. Ittiporn Boonpracong, the Chairman of the Election Commission of Thailand, at the Asawin Grand Convention Hotel in Bangkok. The primary objective of the meeting was to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Following this, Mr. Vannachak Viengkeo, Vice-Chairman, and Mr. Pathammavong Outhai, Deputy Head of the Parliamentary and Cooperation Division of Lao PDR, exchanged souvenir gifts between the two Election Commissions.
