On 28 August 2024, H.E. Mr. Ittiporn Boonpracong, Chairman of the Election Commission of Thailand (ECT), had a dialogue with H.E. Mr. Pedro Zwahlen, the Swiss Ambassador, during a working luncheon. The meeting aimed to discuss bilateral cooperation in the field of election as well as to learn more about the Swiss referendum system and technology.

The discussion further reaffirmed the determination of both sides to work together to achieve the mutual goals of interest.
